My final comment on the recent Ramsgate UFO scandal.

Over the course of recent days i have inadvertently went and got myself caught up in a rather controversial public scandal.

Up until very recently the British Earth Aerial Mysteries Society had a community group page on Facebook. They recently announced however that they were leaving “…Farcebook…” after being on the receiving end of a severe case of cyberbullying.

This is a false statement- a smokescreen to divert your attention away from the real reason why B.E.A.M.S. has decided to leave the social network.

But even the statement on the B.E.A.M.S website can now be proven to be  false.

Because instead of leaving Facebook- B.E.A.M.S. actually decided to go incognito as it were and simply rename the B.E.A.M.S page to ‘The UFO Phenomena’

Why would they do this i hear you ask yourselves?

Well the B.E.A.M.S UFO investigators were caught out making a false statement after being presented with evidence which dissolved their conclusions regarding one of their cases.

After being presented with this evidence, a B.E.A.M.S. investigator then subverted the evidence and unfriended me. I was however- at that time- still a member of their community page on Facebook.

I had shared their post and suddenly it was no longer on my newsfeed. I realised that B.E.A.M.S were now trying to remove the information on this case and had rejected the evidence.

So i messaged the Investigator on Facebook and informed them that i was disgusted about the way in which a UFO group would operate and treat evidence. And that i was going to serial post the disgusting way in which they treated me.

I then wrote up a blog and posted it to the B.E.A.M.S. community page.

That was pulled pretty quick and i was swiftly ejected from the group but i also posted it to several UFO group forums so the word was out that B.E.A.M.S. investigators had acted in such a shameful manner.

I was then informed that i had now been reported to Facebook for cyberbullying.

So next thing you know, before you could say the word streetlight, B.E.A.M.S. posted yet another fictional statement on their website.

It should be noted as well that this statement seems to have had more incarnations than Dr Who.

Lets see what it says today…..

“NOTICE: BEAMS has decided to permanently delete its FARCEBOOK page after being the subject of a severe case Cyberbullying.

So ok, in all the time since our foundation in 1991, here at BEAMS we have made a couple ‘serious’ mistakes… we admit that, we’re only human after all, but at least we confess our ‘sins’ openly. Even top name researchers in this field are not infallible, and that’s where for them, having a selective memory comes in handy.

Back to these major BEAMS slip ups – what exactly were they? Bearing in mind that this is out of the many hundreds of cases that we have dealt with in our 25 years – a long time ago we WERE fooled by a pair of very clever and cunning hoaxers, (although these people were not publicly named, their actions have since been completely exposed by us), and presently, (just 10 days into 2016), we made yet another blunder; this concerned a British image of a supposed UFO that was doing the rounds on social media; foolishly we excitedly jumped into the debate and showed the courage of our convictions by coming down on the side of it being a capture of a real unidentified flying object, and published our erroneous judgement on FB; but in all fairness, within 24 hours BEAMS quickly did a U-turn on the case after fresh, contradictory data was presented to us, and ASAP we retracted everything we had previously said about it; so we expected that to be the end of the matter, (tomorrows chip papers as it were), but no…

Someone, (we won’t mention his name here for legal reasons, and out of sheer decency), began posting derogatory statements about BEAMS on our FB, page; and then after we removed his crap and blocked him from making any further posts, he began virtually blackmailing us, (by sending messages through both our Hotmail and Sky email accounts – away from the public eye), taunting us by bragging how he’s “going to enjoy serial posting” our mistake right across the net, in an attempt to discredit BEAMS. Why? he said because he felt outraged that he had been unfairly blocked.

Yes we got angry after being on the receiving end of this person’s venom, (who wouldn’t?) and perhaps we also said a few things that we shouldn’t have in the heat of the moment …but what else were we supposed to do – just passively sit back and take his barrage of insults?

Sure, you can understand that the guy was upset after being removed from our page, (which was done at the time with good reason, and he’s not the first we have blocked either – no one wants trolling, junk posts etc on their page), but never in a million years would we have expected THIS level of abuse/retaliation.

From where we are sitting, this definitely looks like a case of attempted sabotage, (group wrecking?), by someone who is just out for trouble. Apart from the cyberbullying aspect, this person was/is attempting to Defame our Character, yet another e-crime (electronic crime).Defamation consists of a statement that intends to injure reputation: This can be proven from his Farcebook page… he was attempting to injure our organisation through “serial posting” of invented negative comments about us, along with misquoted and edited versions of our written responses.

…Just ignoring the nuisance isn’t an option either; we would love to let this drop, but can’t unfortunately; think about it …he continues to post twisted untruths about us across the internet – and can anyone honestly say that they would sleep soundly at night with all of this going on? No, he has to be stopped.
Yet in a way, we saw foresaw such problems arising with Farcebook along time ago, (but just hoped that the day would never come for us …but it did), and just as we had feared, bang, we became the latest victims; it was fairly easy to forecast, (no crystal ball or soothsaying powers required), because the same thing has already happened to so many others – with some even driven to suicide over unpleasant confrontations on FB), with all the tittle-tattle, bitching/back-biting and other childish, playground pettiness that generally goes on there amongst users: thanks a lot Mr Bossman, great job, you have things running perfectly… with your just let em’ fight it out and kill each other policy.
So, with such a caring attitude from the boss and staff at FB’s HQ, and sharks like our ‘friend’ waiting in the wings, we have finally realised that this social networking site is not for us… it’s a total waste of time as far as we are concerned.                                                      Strange to say that our abuser helped us to see the light; yes, in a roundabout way, he did us a huge favour by attacking us the way he did – and gave BEAMS the butt kicking we needed to bring us around to our senses regarding FB, just in the nick of time. Certainly BEAMS have FAR more important things to concentrate on (particularly field investigation and of course, running our main website here), so self excluding from that wretched freak show is one of the most sensible moves we have EVER made.

Update 15/01/2016; days later and sadly we have to report that the harassment continues; for some strange reason Sky email will not completely block this creep, and he continues to rabidly attack us; although the only ‘good’ news is that at least now we have managed to alter the settings on our account so that any such future trash gets labelled as such and goes straight into the appropriate folder.
His latest comminication came in the form of a demand …a demand that we publicly retract this notice containing our accusations about him, and to assist us with this he has even kindly sent us an “open letter of apology template: He wrote “just cut n paste and sign and send back and all will be forgiven”; and emphasised how he will continue posting until we sign; on this preprepared statement there is even a section that reads “we at B.E.A.M.S. are truly sorry”; quite surreal …the sheer gall of this man REALLY has to be experienced to be believed; it truly IS a kind of madness that we are dealing with here.
This attempted character assassination of BEAMS is clearly in breach of the Malicious Communications Act 1988 and well, this sort of thing can land an abuser in jail these days and end up being mentioned in his permanent record, in the event of future instances of same. As a result of what has happened we have quickly found out that many people who we thought were our friends in this subject may not be after all; they have very gone quite about the matter; no messages of support – nothing; and to us their silence speaks VOLUMES; typical school playground behaviour, where they don’t want to get involved, or go over to the side of the winner at the drop of a hat …usually those who can shout the loudest; well, if that’s what they’re like then we’ll struggle through this without them – who needs ‘friends’ like that anyway? This is the sad reality of life, how shallow and easily led many people have become; in a way society is regressing back to Medieval Ages of mob rule …where anyone, (even those who haven’t done anything wrong), can be put on the Internet in virtual stocks and pelted with rotten food …a trial of public humiliation; that’s how it feels to be a Farcebook victim.

All that we are having to deal with is making both of us feel quite ill: Hilary has already be diagnosed with Atrial fibrillation, a heart condition which is exacerbated by stress; and this present situation is certainly not doing her any good.

One final appeal to our stalker; we say to him “please end your viral campaign of hatred towards us and anyone else you may be attacking in this way – this must end NOW!”

Ok so whatever way you want to look at it lets firstly see what B.E.A.M.S. investigators had to  say after this evidence was provided to them…………

Now, is this a streetlight? GGMS… no wonder I have deactivated our FB page more times than I care to remember… out of sheer frustration!

The B.E.A.M.S. statement does not hold and water.

One Mistake And We Get All This!

So ok, we make one mistake about the wretched Ramsgate photo, (were only human), and then we quickly retracted our thoughts on the case when fresh data was presented… but then Mr Welsh twisted our error and even began taking our words out of context, (if you read that piece again about being “truly desperate for an explanation!” you will see that is our puny attempt at sarcasm… as in running out of ideas about what the object could have been …in a process of elimination… yes, yes we know it’s just a street lamp now but didn’t at the time… obviously), but then he became nasty about it all and a real pest on our FB page, putting up all sorts of unwanted posts, (with him quoting, misquoting and always linking back to our mistake), constantly attacking BEAMS so we blocked him…
Then while still in a sulk, he starts blackmailing us via our Hotmail account that he’s “going to enjoy serial posting” of our mistake in an attempt to discredit BEAMS.
Yes we got angry after being on the receiving end of his venom and perhaps said a few things that we shouldn’t have in the heat of the moment… but what else were we supposed to do – just sit back and take his insults?
In our opinion this ‘man’ is out for trouble full stop!
And with people like this waiting in the wings we finally realise, once and for all what a load of garbage Facebook really is… just like the school playground, full of tittle-tattle, with the perfect PREFECTS just itching to grass people up to teacher…
P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C! …get a real life!
Oh and BTW James, saw the bad book review on Amazon, is that perhaps the REAL reason why you’re so full of spite and anger?

you can see from my initial blog that the theme being conveyed is that of the treatment of a member of the public who approached them with information which solved their casefile for them.

But the statement on the B.E.A.M.S. page clearly states that “…So ok, we make one mistake about the wretched Ramsgate photo, (were only human), and then we quickly retracted our thoughts on the case when fresh data was presented…”

Well nothing was posted about the case being solved, no mention or credit was given to me and by “…retracted our thoughts o the case when fresh data was presented…”

What they state runs at odds with what actually occurred …..

So they tried to cover it up instead of admitting that they were wrong about the case. Instead of leting people know that they had been way off the mark on this one, they simply stated i was a cyberbully and were leaving Facebook but even that was proven to be yet another lie.

Instead of simply admitting they were wrong (no shame in it) they had already pre-put their foot in their mouth by stating to me that it was no streetlight and that they had done their homework. I didnt like how they  stated:

So my evidence clearly not only solved the case but in addition also showed this statement to be- how should i put this? Highly inaccurate!

So it was a pretty ludicrous statement to make and also a bit of a go at me at the same time. Why? Well because i caught her out lying.

And the lies have piled up since then.

Ive now had numerous liable things accusations made about me by the B.E.A.M.S. Investigators and i’ve had no trouble repeating them. Apparently – according to B.E.A.M.S. what ive done is illegal, defamation of character and cyberbullying/e-crime.

Well the long and short of it is that its called freedom of speech, and journalism.

But seeing as this is my final word on this scandalous behaviour by B.E.A.M.S lets take a look at some of their lies.

Both these emails were sent out after this statement was made. There were NO email communications to B.E.A.M.S. with the exception of the Facebook message, informing them i was going to blog about their shameful treatment of my evidence, myself and the UFO subject. That Facebook message was the reason i was reported to Facebook for cyberbullying.

This bit was the only bit in the statement which contained a grain of truth……

So instead of just getting caught out with lies no.1 and no.2 that total is now in double figures..

But lets just wrap this matter up shall we?

Lets go back to the B.E.A.M.S. website statement about them leaving Facebook once and for all because i allegedly cyberbullyed them.

B.E.A.M.S are caught out lying once again because instead of leaving as stated on their website- they actually just decided to reinvent themselves on Facebook under the new identity of The UFO Phenomena.

How do i know this? Well the UFO Phenomena just happened to begin its life on Facebook with an instant 1400 members.

Some of you out there i suspect will be a bit cynical…..how can he prove that? some of you are thinking?

Well in a bizarre twist of events, there is some truth to the B.E.A.M.S statement that they are leaving facebook. Despite having simply slipped on a new identity they are no longer at the helm of this community page.

It would seem that the universe and Karma have been watching these events unfold and were not amused at the unfair treatment that i have been undergoing from  B.E.A.M.S.

Like i say, in a bizarre twist of events, the third party who was also observing matters from the start was the caretaker admin for the B.E.A.M.S. page. After following this matter he has now blocked the previous B.E.A.M.S administrators from their own community page (they do state they are leaving Facebook ) and i have gladly accepted the position of being the group administrator for this former B.E.A.M.S. page.

So every cloud has a silver lining.

I am now also relieved that B.E.A.M.S. are now focusing some of their attention and blame away from me and are now having a go at the UFO community at large for not sticking up for them.

The opportunity to take the helm of the B.E.A.M.S. page after i had been reinstated and they were now outcasts was universal poetry. After all they put me through it was nice to have taken control of their community page and its also Karma at its very finest.

So folks, there you have it. The truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
